The weather was not on our side this weekend. With Tony’s arrival in Austin came rain, the first rain we’ve had since I’ve been here. We sat indoors all weekend and when it stopped raining today, we took to the streets and tried to get a few hours of riding in. I’ve just started to get the hang of using my external flash and was happy with these photos. Just sucks I didn’t have a full 10 to post!

Before the sun set, we rode at this spot where Eric 180’d off a picnic table.

This ledge is fast. Super steep and with multiple flat spots. Tony hopped on at the top and took it for a quick ride!

Eric did the same throughout the night, manualing on it and hitting a firecracker, which I failed to catch at the right moment.

From there we headed to these curved ledges at the Capitol building where Eric manualed around the corner. I’m pretty stoked on how this came out. Since I’m new to using flashes, any critique would be appreciated and as always, check out a few more photos at my Flickr.
