Genesis 2021 Fugio 30 Gravel Bike Sports a Flashy Paint Job on a Reynolds 725 Tubeset
The Fugio 30 returns this year in the expansive Genesis lineup. Along with a blinged-out, 1980’s inspired fade, the Fugio 30 comes with a Shimano GRX kit and is built from a Reynolds 725 tubeset, with a full carbon fork.
For those unfamiliar with 725. It sits three rungs down the Reynolds ladder. This steel tubeset uses thinner walls thanks to its production technique of mandrel butting. It’s then heat-treated to increase strength. 725 is lighter than most production steel tubes and this just adds to its responsiveness.
Head to Genesis to see more on the Fugio 30.

The Fairlight Faran MKII Touring Bike
The Faran 2.0 is the latest from the UK builders Fairlight. It’s a multi-purpose tourer, built with custom-specified Reynolds tubing, like a Reynolds 631 DZB downtube, and 631 front triangle, with a 37mm 4130 head tube and stays, with 68mm of chainstay clearance which will fit either a 700 or 27.5 wheel. That’s big enough to fit a 27.5 x 2.4” Continental X-King Tyre on Hope XC rims. These bikes have all the fixins to make them an ally on randonneuring events, S24O, or even a full-on tour. Fairlight has pulled together an extensive product catalog on the features of the Faran MKII, which I highly suggest checking out. It’s not often a bicycle manufacturer goes to these lengths describing their new product.
A £500.00 lands you a deposit (£899 frameset retail) for a Faran MKII and the queue is open for business, with the first batch shipping in September/October, with the colors to be announced shortly so head to Fairlight if you like what you see!

Win a No22 Aurora and More from Reynolds to Help Fund Cancer Research
Reynolds is working with a number of brands, including No22 to give away tons of product at this year’s NAHBS in Salt Lake City. Here’s the low-down:
“Over the last twenty years, Huntsman and their supporters have accelerated the pace of cancer research and treatment to better the lives of cancer patients and their families. By purchasing raffle entries, you too can join in the crusade against cancer and make a positive change in the fight against this global epidemic.
Reynolds is also proud to support and attend the North American Handmade Bicycle Show being held March 10-12 in Salt Lake City, Utah. This prestigious gathering of small, craft brands will highlight some of the most dedicated bicycle builders in the world. The focus on commitment and quality inherent at NAHBS, and its Salt Lake City location this year, make it the perfect time and place to conclude the raffle. Winners will be drawn and announced the final day of the show, March 12th.”
Head to Reynolds to buy a ticket, or ten!

Gettin’ the Reynolds ATR Carbon Disc Wheels Dirty
Centerlock disc, XD driver compatible, thru axles, tubeless-ready, 29mm wide and 28mm deep. These details a few years ago might have had more in common with a XC MTB wheel than a ‘cross or all road bike but alas, technology has changed and specs are slowly migrating over from flat bars to drop bars. The Reynolds ATR, or all terrain road, wheels are carbon fiber wheels meant to take you from paved roads to dirt and vice versa. They’re light and resilient but best of all, they won’t bottom out your credit card.

Snow Peak and Muller: Stainless Steel Touring Bike
My favorite camping / outdoors company, Snow Peak has collaborated with Japanese frame builder Muller on a Reynolds 931 stainless light touring frame.
This S&S coupler frame is currently being offered in three build kits, either with Shimano Dura Ace / Di2 or Campagnolo Veloce and it comes ready to be loaded! This might be one of the most tricked-out light touring / camping bike collaborations to date.
See more details at Snow Peak and more photos below!
