Jeff’s All City Nature Boy Zona

Reportage

Jeff’s All City Nature Boy Zona

If you grew up adoring the Ritchey P20 bikes and later found yourself running your own bicycle company, there’s a good chance you’d wanna adopt their livery. Jeff’s Nature Boy Zona prototype is an homage to the MTBs of the 1980’s and with a paint job like that, who can deny the randess?

I was way stoked on Jeff’s second place finish at the SoCalCross C race during the SSCXWC in LA, so I gave his bike a little bit of attention the next morning. He’s got all the GSC guys racing singlespeed on these bikes, so they’ve gotta be good! Word on the street is that this will be the paint job on the limited Zona this year, so stay tuned.

Jeff from All-City Showcasing Urban #CampVibes

It’s been real fun hanging out with Jeff from All-City. We raced together, we partied together and even got sick together. Jeff knows how to live the life as the manager of a party brand. But sometimes it gets too much for him to handle. We were supposed to go touring but the urban #campvibes got the best of him.

Don’t worry Salsa, this is an urban adventure. Thanks to Grandpasaurus Rex for the photo.

All-City: Def Star Sprockets in Stock

I showed you this sprocket in February of 2011 and it’s finally seen the light of day. While I’ll always support TREE, the originators of the splined sprocket, these All-City Def Stars are looking damn fine and at $65, no one can complain. Here’s the scoop:

“Our big twist is the clocked splines which allow for weight savings, while still maintaining exceptional strength.  A cutout on one side, means a spline on the other and vice versa. In addition, rather than the standard 6mm thickness, the Def Star is 8mm thick.

Basically it was made to handle whatever you can throw at it and still only weighs in at 147g for the 33t version.

We’ve been working on the design for over two years, and it’s telling that all of our original proto’s are still being ridden today.  We believe that this is definitely the best sprocket on the market and invite you to check it out.

P.S. Yes we have a 28t version on the way.”

Pick one up at your LBS and check out more at All-City.

All-City: New Low Socks

All-City: New Low Socks

I very rarely wear low socks, but if I happen to feel like exposing my ankles, I’ll put on my Sock Guy merinos. They’re great socks on or off the bike, so I can see why Jeff at All-City would pick them to make his socks. Pick some up now at your LBS for $16.50.

Of course, if you wanted a single speed that weighed a little less, you could always go with the All-City Nature Boy Zona:

Nature Boy Zona LE 2012

$795 MSRP

These bad boy’s are now decked out in black and silver and will be arriving in September.

Last year our run of 80 framesets sold out in a flash, so if you want this 1/2lb lighter version of the Nature Boy with a Press Fit 30 Bottom bracket, you need to act quick.

We are taking preorders now, so get into your local shop and let them know that you want one.

Like last year these will only be coming in 4 sizes, 49,52,55, and 58.  However this year we tweaked the geo so that the 49 and 58’s mimic the standard Nature Boy (last year they were .5 mm shorter and longer respectively).”

Trackosaurus Rex: New All-City Track Frame and STTBars

Even though sometimes Kyle is a little shit on the internet, deep down he’s a good guy. Which is funny because he’s such a short lil fella but somehow he buries the niceness deep, deep down. Deep like the track drops pictured here…

Anyway, Jeff from All-City unveiled his new track bike at #GSC a few weeks ago. Accompanying the frame are the STTBars. Lookin’ good Jeff. See more at Tracko.

All-City: JBallin’ 2012

Here’s J Ball’s edit for All-City. Dude goes hard here with a few solid, creative lines (the one at 1:06 was rad). I also loved seeing the big spin to wheelie 180. Shit like that makes my day!
