SRAM UDH Compatible Gravel and Road Bikes List Has Grown

The SRAM Bike Finder list of UDH-compatible road and gravel bikes seems to have grown when nobody was looking…

A discussion unfolded in our State Bicycle Co Ti All Road review today surrounding SRAM UDH compatibility on drop bar road and gravel bikes. The conversation asked a simple question: are UDH gravel and road bikes going to be more of a thing in the future? This prompted Josh to check out SRAM’s Bike Finder “Road and Gravel” tab, and it seems the list has grown exponentially since Transmission launched last year as a primarily mountain bike-centric bit of tech.

This means that the SRAM UDH hanger will indeed be universal across all bicycle platforms, but fear not, cable-actuated loyalists. There will always be compatibility with (most) cable-actuated derailleurs, even for Shimano’s direct-mount derailleurs, thanks to Wheels Manufacturing.

At this moment, the list of UDH road and gravel bikes will continue to grow as smaller framebuilders, component suppliers like Paragon Machine Works, and companies like Fairlight, will adopt their modular dropouts to keep up with demand.

What do you think? Is this the future for road and gravel?
