Colombia’s Scarab Cycles announced a new model today, dubbed the Paramo Integrated. This model expands the Paramo family of gravel bikes and uses the ENVE IN-Route system with the ENVE Gravel IN-Route Fork and an all-new Wolf Tooth integrated headset. Let’s check it out below.
Named after the stunning high-altitude landscapes of Colombia, the Paramo Integrated is made in El Retiro, a charming town on the outskirts of Medellín. The Paramo region is known for its tough conditions—thin air, unpredictable weather, and strong winds. Cycling there is a real challenge…
The latest offering in the line, Paramo Integrated joins our standard Paramo design as well as the Paramo Ultra, which was created for increased tire clearance and the most rugged exploration. Paramo Integrated is a streamlined model that offers some of the most cutting edge technologies produced by Scarab and our partners.
“Wolf Tooth has been quietly working on a clean headset solution for integrated cockpits, here in our Minnesota machine shop, with best-in- class stack height, weight, and internal sealing,” said Wolf Tooth Marketing Manager Zach Dolinaj. “We’ve admired Scarab and their custom steel bikes for years.
When we learned that Scarab was building a Paramo Integrated with this cockpit for Philly Bike Expo, we knew that this was the perfect opportunity to show off a prototype of our new integrated headset.”
