John got his anodizing-stripping hands on one of the new PNW Components LTD Silver Dropper Posts ahead of their launch. Read on below for all the details on how you can snatch one too!

When John posted that he stripped his Wolf Tooth dropper’s stanchion and later the whole dropper post on his Moné SB2, we didn’t think anyone thought companies would hear the horn of Gondor for more silver droppers. Well, PNW Components heard the call and, at Sea Otter this year, previewed their new LTD Silver Loam dropper posts. Now, five months later, we have some news on this front.

The good news is that the LTD Silver Loam Dropper Posts are finally arriving on September 26th. PNW Components will have both the Loam Droppers (MTB) and the Rainier 27.2 x 125 mm (gravel/touring/road) – which we teased in our MADE coverage on the Pine rigid 29er – available in limited quantities.

Here’s the bad news: There are more people on the waitlist than droppers coming in. This doesn’t mean they will sell out, but they might. Keep in mind that PNW Components does have preorders with dealers as well.

Anyone who has joined the LTD Silver Dropper waitlist will be eligible for preorder on September 26th, PNW will launch the posts to the public on the following Monday, September 30th.
