With feather-light bike builds often clad in an all-black empirical cloak, it’s nice to see a small independent artist take hold of the color-palette. Cue Geoff McFetridge. He’s by no means as high profile as Shepard Fairey or Damien Hirst and this Rue Sports frame isn’t going to fetch over a $500,000 dollars at a LiveSTRONG auction, but Jesus, this project came out awesome!
I’ve long been a fan of McFetridge’s work and this is one of the best collaboration builds I’ve seen.

it’s all about the details
For the “light-bike” Mcfetridge designed a variety of abstract iconic imagery exploring a narrative of the psychological turmoil encountered while pedaling along our favorite pastime.
A Ruegammer crafted frame was used as the base for the design, built with parts from A/X Lightness and Tune. The bike features several newly released components such as the A/X Lightness Helios Fork, Zeus Stem (65g), and wheels composed of Tune Hubs, Pillar Titanium Spokes, and A/X Lightness Rims.
