A new year, a new dream bike. Easton’s Dream Bike giveaway continues with this beautiful Caletti race machine.
“Easton Cycling has announced the fourth installment of The Dream Bike Charity Sweepstakes, a titanium Caletti race bike. The Dream Bike Charity Sweepstakes is a promotion giving away hand- built road bikes from Calfee Design, Rock Lobster Cycles, Black Cat, Caletti Cycles and Hunter.
All proceeds from each sweepstakes are donated to five charities selected by the frame builders. Each bike is outfitted with Shimano Dura Ace and Easton EC90 components including the new EC90 Aero 55 wheelset. To participate in the sweepstakes visit Easton Cycling’s Facebook.”

Beginning in late August 2013, riders can visit facebook.com/eastoncycling to participate. Each month, a different dream bike is given away, with all proceeds benefitting the charity of that builder’s choice. The Dream Bike Charity Sweepstakes kicked off with a wonder bike from carbon fiber pioneer Calfee Design.
This first installment saw nearly 2,000 sweepstakes tickets distributed, with 100-percent of the proceeds benefitting Cyclists for Cultural Exchange.
The fourth installment of the sweepstakes is a titanium Caletti road bike. John Caletti is a master craftsman, building all kinds of bicycles by hand in Santa Cruz, California.
Every one of the frames that Caletti builds is beautiful, but his titanium creations are breathtakingly stunning with immaculate welds and understated elegance.
Caletti’s attention to detail doesn’t stop with the welds.
He goes out of his way to minimize the environmental impact made by his business; Caletti Cycles is a member of One Percent for the Planet and Caletti makes regular contributions to ocean conservation-related nonprofits. “I believe that we should all be doing more to protect our environment,” says Caletti.
“And I’ve always been fascinated with sharks, so I’m directing all of the proceeds from this sweepstakes to Shark Savers.”
