A Proper Modern Do-It-All Klunker
Klunkers were the first mountain bikes, developed after the onset of Mountain Cruisers in Marin County. The Bad Granny was inspired by the ingenuity of these early tinkerers and mountain bike framebuilders. As such, it’s got all the bases covered. Belt drive? Cool. There is a split seat stay. Singlespeed? No worries. There’s an eccentric bottom bracket. SRAM Transmission? Got you. There’s a UDH-ready dropout design.
The Bad Granny can be whatever you want it to be.
Geometry
Sizes S/M through L/XL allow for the rider to achieve proper fit by adjusting stem length and bar rise. A 74º seat tube angle and 68º heat tube angle put the Bad Granny into a perfect “all-rounder/XC” geometrical sweet spot, making it at home on gravel roads and swoopy singletrack. Add a dropper to engage the fun.
The Bad Granny is made in Germany at Sour’s Factory and is available to pre-order now. See more info on the Bad Granny at Sour Bicycles.
