Dresden, Germany-based Sour Bicycles is updating its two popular hardtails, the Pasta Party and Crumble, for 2025. Let’s take a look at the updates in detail.
Crumble
The Sour Crumble is the do-it-all, just happy to be invited trail bike. It’s one of the oldest frames in the Sour catalog, yet one of the most loved models. Build it down and race it, build it up and spend all day perfecting a tech section, the Crumble is keen. It’s a dialed multi-talented platform for 120-140 mm travel and everything from downcountry to long alpine descents.
New for 2025:
- 100% external cable routing
- zs44/zs56 headtube
- ISCG05 tabs
- Sram Transmission ready dropouts (incl. New PM7 aluminum brake mount)
- Geometry for 130/140mm forks
Pasta Party
XC laps, KOMs, XC Fight Club, or riding to the ends of the Earth… your call. Ready for all adventures, the Pasta Party features modern XC-based geometry paired with a passion for trail riding and adventures. A made-especially-for-Sour tubing set and custom bits all over the frame make the Pasta Party truly a unique frame.
New for 2025:
- 100 external cable routing
- 44mm headtube
- 31.6 mm seat tube/post
- Sram Transmission ready dropouts (incl. new aluminum FM160 brake mount)
- Geometry adjusted for 100-120mm forks (120 optimum, even for bikepacking)
Both frames retail for €1099 in the EU with standard colors. Custom colors start around €180 extra. They are ready to order with Crumble frames being build right now and Pasta Partys on the way in Sour’s next production cycle. Lead times should shorten over the winter for a standard 30 business days timeline moving forward.
In order to streamline production and to focus more on their primary bikes, the Big Fun will be sunset from the Sour lineup. That model is currently only available as long as stock lasts.
