You might remember my Shop Visit to Fast Folks back in October. Well, since then, Nat and the crew has moved to a new location. Now closer to downtown on 6th Street, the new Fast Folks is bigger and better than ever.
They’re still in the process of filling out their stock but the shop has all the essentials for your track or fixed build.
Including a comfy couch.
As the first fixed gear and track-specific shop in Texas, Nat keeps it stocked.
With more square footage, the space feels less crowded and is easier to find what you need.
They’ve got wheels of all colors to make your head spin.
Components, accessories and bicycle art fill the walls.
The mechanics area is stocked and ready.
Some of the signage is familiar.
… and some is new.
The vernacular has influenced much of the design.
From the music we all grew up with.
To the pedals we push, the new shop has a lot of nice details.
This pedal-powered security gate is genius! I wonder why other shops haven’t done something like this.
Their hours are the same, except they are indeed open on Saturdays!
Swing through and say hey! As always there are more photos up on my Flickr.
