If there’s one Brooklyn-bred business that I’ve covered here extensively, it’s Brooklyn Machine Works. I swung by to see Joe and Ken one of the first days I was in town to use my new 15mm Fisheye FD lens and I was pleased with the outcome.

Down on Powers street in Williamsburg, the operations at BMW have been going strong for over a decade.

Joe was sitting at his desk, cranking away at emails.

With frames in queue.

Some customers have specific desires for their frames like canti-mounts or rack mounts.

It’s great to see the walls still lined with frames.

It’s downhill season, so the guys spend their days building and repairing bikes to tear apart the slops of Diablo. BMW remains one of my favorite builders that I’ve visited and the guys there really love what they do.
