Minnesota-based Wolf Tooth Components just announced a plethora of colors available for its 7075 aluminum single speed cogs ($54.95) as well as stainless steel lockrings and spacers ($29.95)…
These aluminum single speed cogs feature extra tall teeth for reliable chain retention when using chain tensioners. No more kicked chains. They are reversible and feature a 4.5 mm width at the base that won’t dig into your freehub body. They’re available in 16 to 22 tooth options, in blue, black, purple, gold, orange, and green.
Compatibility:
- These will fit on Shimano Hyperglide style freehub spline (geared or single speed).
- Not compatible with Shimano Microspline or SRAM XD freehubs.
- Designed to work with any chain through 12-speed
- Tooth width optimized for 9,10, and 11-speed chains
- Not compatible with Campagnolo Ekar 13-speed chains
Wolf Tooth also has spacer kits with or without stainless lockrings.
- Compatible with any 10 or 11-speed HG freehub body
- Kit includes two 1.5mm, three 5mm, and one 15mm aluminum spacers
- Spacers can be used in combination to achieve 45, 47.5, 49, 52, and 55mm chainlines
