“The first World Cup Cyclocross race also meant the first time this year the pro women were broadcast, and that means we can finally premiere the first episode of LIKEAVOS, season two. The World Cup opener took place at Valkenburg in the Netherlands. The course is a brutal one. As you’ll see it rides more like a mountainbike race than a cyclocross race, with many elevation changes and off-camber sections. For this episode we concentrate on a tricky off-camber section, the run-up and descending skills. We also watch Katie Compton deal with adversity and Helen Wyman show great form.”

It’s that time of year again! CX Hairs returns with #SVENNESS, Cross Vegas edition.

This is it, the final race of the year for #SVENNESS. This one takes place in Hoogerheide, Netherlands for the 2014 UCI Cyclocross World Championship. Surely by now you’ve seen how brutal this course was, so sit back and enjoy!

Excellent job this year, CX Hairs!

When I saw coverage from Soudal Classics Cyclocross Series, all I could think was one thing: dream course. That’s the kind of cross races I love… You know, the ones that look like MTB races. #SVENNESS is killing it this season!

Another weekend, another CX Hairs presentation:

“For episode 2.15, SVENNESS makes a stop at the Belgian National Cyclocross Championships, which took place at the Gaverbeek Hippodrome in Waregem, West Flanders, Belgium. The race takes place on a flat track with several flyovers and drainage ditches. It is a bit muddy and there is one long stretch of sand that plays an important role in this race.

We focus on the sand, the planks, the attrition of an already small field and the solidification of a legend. For the Belgian elite race, only racers who have full-time contracts are allowed to compete. That means the field is only 14 deep. The elites without contracts race a minute after the full-time pros start their race.”

Ok, so this means that cross is over right? Which means #CrossisComing…
