We love a good basket bag and France’s Cycles Manivelle just released an update to its Le Cabas bag, the V2 Le Cabas (95,00€). These bags are made for Manivelle’s Baskets, one of which we reviewed last year. Let’s check it out.
In 2021, the brand launched its first bag to go with a basket, Le Cabas. Over the past three years of user feedback, the framebuilder and component/accessories operation developed the V2 with a few objectives in mind: It had to be lighter, with a slimmer and more assertive design.
This is the idea behind the evolution of the Cabas: to retain the generous capacity of the V1, while making it lighter and adding the possibility of making it very small by simply folding it down. The Cabas slips into your backpack or the bottom of your Manivelle basket, ready to be deployed when you’re on a spree at the market or thrift store. Highly compatible with picnics and afternoons at the beach.
