Ripton and Co’s New Drift Overalls
Just when you thought technical jorts were the craziest thing to come out of the past few years in apparel, Ripton and Co post up their pet project, the Drift Overalls. These are made from the same stretch fabric as their jorts, in a black acid wash finish, and bright yellow, 1.5″ thick elastic straps. These are made in the USA just like their Jorts and are on pre-order now for $179.

Ripton’s New Black Acid Jorts
Paraphrasing product descriptions seems moot when they’re this good, so I’ll let Ripton take it from here:
“We take one part spark-plug fluid. An unhealthy helping of axle grease. And a macro-dose of brain-bending, jet black acid. Then mix in a five-gallon bucket until the contents resemble ooze spilling from Chernobyl’s long-lost singletrack. Drop in a pair of Ripton tech jorts, top off with a splash of Four Loko, and apply a light smoke. 24 hours later, we unearth our mutated masterpiece: the V3 Black Acid technical denim jort.”

Rippin’ Ass in Ripton & Co’s Action Jorts: A Review
I’m not going to lie, when I first saw the post about Ripton & Co I thought it was a joke, and if it wasn’t a joke why have I missed the business opportunity of the decade sitting right in front of my face. At a startling $89 for a pair boutique cut off jorts, I was stunned. I was shortly connected to the Jort Lord, Elliot Wilkinson-Ray, who asked what size I wanted and if I wanted the shorts hemmed or cut off, I chose to go with cut off to go for the full jort experience.
