LoweLifes Featured on Blackburn’s Blog

The LoweLifes, named after Mount Lowe in Los Angeles, recently were featured on the Blackburn blog with photos by Brian Vernor. We love seeing trail organizations getting some much-deserved media coverage, so don’t miss this at Blackburn.

Crust Bikes Now Carries Nissen Cables

Brighten up your new build with colored cables from Nissen, now carried by Crust Bikes and available in a full spectrum of colors, four cabling styles, in brake or shifter housing. We love this stuff and it works great on indexed and friction shifting. See the full offering at Crust Bikes.

Tour de France Femmes – Part 1

As we watch history in the making at the Tour de France Femmes, SRAMtv gives us an inside look at the iconic people, places, and racing we can’t get enough of right now. In this episode, hosts Jen Whalen and Jeremy Dunn chat with some of the biggest names on the bike like Elisa Longo Borghini, Kasia Niewiadoma, and Demi Vollering. Stay tuned for more episodes throughout the Tour.

RADshare: Rumble in Richmond – Round 2

It was “fun for everyone” at round 2 of RADshare’s Rumble in Richmond with tons of kids ripping, an amazing women’s jam and an even bigger jump than last year. Check out the highlights and visit www.radshare.org to help get kids on bikes and helmets on heads.

Bikepacking Africa

This is Episode 2 of 8 featuring McKenzie Barney and James Beatty’s ride through Sudan. Sudan was by far the most remote portion of their cycling voyage down Africa. The desert heat was harsh and unforgiving often upwards of 110° F, but the roadside “cafeterias” offered much-needed shade, tea, and sometimes even a cot to sleep on. As we neared Khartoum, Sudan’s capital, we suddenly lost phone signal and had no communication to the outside world…
