Come August, I’m planning a quick tour from Portland to SF and as per preparations, I’ve started to look up various company’s offerings for tents and camping supplies. While it’s easy to go to a big box retailer and pick it all up in one swoop, it’s great to support those companies that just “get it”.
Benji Wagner is known in the cycling world for his photography but one of his more recent efforts is a brand called Poler. They specialize in camping equipment and hit a niche specifically with skateboarders, cyclists and snowboarders. While their site is half full right now, expect a big facelift in the near future as they work out their stock. I’ve seen their catalog and I gotta say, it’s pretty freaking rad!
