Philly Bike Expo 2019: Bilenky

Part of the job of a framebuilder is to address their client’s concerns and for shorter riders, having a bike that rides like it should can be a challenge. At the Philly Bike Expo this year, Bilenky took hold of one such challenge, managing to build a bike with ample standover while not sacrificing geometry or, most importantly, the ride quality.

This road bike was assembled the night before the show by Bryan Fuzzy at Bicycle Revolutions. The customer requirements designed around a 700c wheel for a shorter rider, but because Bilenky has been designing bikes for smaller cyclists all these years it came together magnificently. This is what custom is all about; a lot of bikes to fit people that don’t fit the norm.
