Horse Cycles: British Racer Track

British.jpg

Everyone thinks the Italians have been doing the track bike game the longest, but no one remembers the era of the British path racers. They typically had a longer wheelbase, bigger clearances, more rake and drilled for brakes. These bikes were meant to be ridden on the street and raced. That’s the inspiration for the newest Horse Cycles track bike. I love the British path racers and in a lot of ways, pulled cues from Carlton and Bates for my Icarus.
