A Day in 10 Photos: 04.12.2010

I woke up today with a sinus migraine. Every year, around this time, I get a crippling allergy-induced sinus migraine and it takes every bit of energy to get out of bed. Needless to say, my day got off to a late start and errands brought me into the city for an hour or so where I stumbled upon this scene on Grand St. in Chinatown.

Check out more photos below.

I couldn’t figure out what exactly was going on, but the bumper sticker on this fire truck reminded me that “Freedom Is Not Free”.

Reminded of this, I headed freely back home to the land of liberals and trust funds. As I trucked across the Williamsburg bridge, I got caught behind this dude. Digging the chain wallet and spiked belt. Seriously.

At the switch-back from the south side path to the north side path, I ran into Mike and Will.

Will’s work bike. Love the Descendants sticker on the fork blade.

Mike’s work bike. Sporting the OG Squarebuilt unicrown fork and a Pedal Consumption sticker!

From there, I swung by the Mishka offices. Seems as though the guys got something in the mail I had to look at. I wish I could tell you, but you know how that goes. Here’s Mike Jones hating me for taking his photo and a shit-ton of designs for their Spring 2011 line in the background.

These two kids were sitting outside Affinity in some sort of spaceship.

I came home to a nice package; a new Profile Euro BB. Mine was on its last legs and was making my bike creak like a motherfucker. I can’t wait to pop this sucker in tomorrow.

It was time for dinner and all I had to eat was my Mishka x Lamour Supreme x Cure Boogie-Man. Dammit. Vinyl again?
