Get Around Cycles Canti Hangers

Canti hangers are no doubt making a comeback. From the old days with the Onza Chill Pills and Paul Moon Units and now with the Get Around Cycles hangers. These 19mm wide and 10mm thick canti hangers feature various designs like Shrooms, Dead Face, and Terrapin turtles. These hangers are for sale for $24.99.

Corsa Hydration Tonics

John here. I’ve been really open with my battle with alcoholism over the years and one of the struggles I faced early on my journey was the inevitable post-ride beverage. Be it a beer or a cocktail in a can, it was one of the major speed bumps in my recovery from alcohol dependency. I never caved in but the temptation was always there socially.

The owner of Corsa Hydration Tonics felt the same thing, and thus, these great little non-alcoholic tonics were born. I’ve been enjoying the Ginger Hibiscus and have handed out the Kola and Orange Spritz when people are hanging out but don’t feel like drinking. It’s amazing to see the amount of NA beers and beverages hit the market and really nice to see a cycling-oriented brand rollout. See the whole lineup at Corsa. Feel free to reach out if you’re struggling with drinking. I’m more than willing to help out!

Kitsbow’s Iconic Icon Flannel is Now Available in Red and Black

Red and black plaid has been around forever and it’s hard to argue there is a more iconic flannel color. From Paul Bunyan to Brawny paper towels, that red and black checker just pops. Kitsbow now offers this classic look in their Icon flannel, one of the nicest pieces of cycling-oriented apparel ever made. These come in men’s and women’s cuts, in standard or athletic, and are made-to-order in North Carolina. Check out more at Kitsbow.

Mind Over Mountains

Mind Over Mountains is a short film about the mindset behind riding far and fast. Challenging the idea that speed and suffering go hand in hand, it follows Annie Lloyd Evans, Huw Oliver, and friends as they ride Scotland’s stunning Cairngorms Loop ITT on a perfect August day. Moving fast, light and at the moment, they show us that love for a landscape and joy for the simplicity of movement are what fuel unforgettable rides.

The Kona Sutra: Contrast

Kona Europe’s Romain Barrez loves to get creative with his adventures and they usually involve his Sutra. Romain had the idea to take a dual-sport outing to the next level and carry his pack raft aboard his bike for a multi-day bikepacking and packrafting expedition. From Nice, France, through Entrevaux, and up to Saint Julien du Verdon, Romain wound his way through medieval villages and gorgeous countryside, eventually finding himself paddling across The Verdon. This gorgeous film showcases the highlights of the route and features some of the most beautiful scenery we’ve ever seen.

Binary Maniak – First Ride On my Dream Hardtail That I Designed

Earlier this week, we featured the Binary Maniak, a hardtail designed by Hardtail Part on YouTube:

“For the past year, I’ve been working with Binary Bicycles to develop my dream hardtail, the Binary Maniak. Today we take it out to Barrel Trail in St. George Utah. This was filmed 9 months ago and I had to keep a lid on it, but here it is. Enjoy. a month after filming this, I decided to measure the seat angle. it came out to 79* effective. that’s 2* steeper than we had designed. somehow the prototype got an extra steep sta. So we have changed it back to 77* which should be perfect. We’ve made some other changes as well, but they’re all for the better. Pre-orders are open ’till mid-Feb. Reserve yours today. Stay tuned as I share more about the prototype including a first look vid later this week.”
