Readers’ Rides: Tom’s Singular Peregrine

First of all, we’d like to thank all of you who have submitted Readers Rides builds to be shared over here. The response has been incredible, with hundreds already in our email box. I’m not sure how often we’ll be posting them but I figured we’d start it off this week with Tom’s Singular Peregrine fat tire randonneur…

Tom got this bike almost ten years ago. He future-proofed it to be timeless with traditional lines and an eccentric bottom bracket. The build includes a mix of UK, EU and US components with Hope hubs, Hope headset, Paul Klampers, an Absolute Black ring on Velo Orange CRU cranks.

Other build specs include Panaracer Driver Pro tires, Cambium saddle, Crust Towel rack bars, and Shimano SLX drivetrain mated to a SRAM 10-42 cassette, operated by a microSHIFT bar-end shifter.

Tom’s local shop is the Woods Cyclery in New Forest, UK.

Feel free to submit your bike, listing details, components, and other information. You can also include a portrait of yourself with your bike!
