Readers’ Rides: Grant’s Endpoint Coffee Grinder

For this week’s Readers’ Rides, we take a look at Grant from Richmond’s Endpoint Coffee Grinder. These frames are handmade in Washington state by Elephant Bikes at the behest of Ride Endpoint. This was one of several prototype frames and includes a wild paint job. Check it out in detail below.

The current build employs a list of reliable and functional products, beginning with Knight Composites rims laced to Chris King hubs, Ultegra cranks with a Pioneer power meter which Grant doesn’t really use correctly, a mix of SRAM Force and Rival hydro group, Ritchey Venturemax handlebar, Specialized Phenom saddle, and Teravail Cannonball tires.

It’s a fast gravel racer that holds its own on pavement but things get dicey when the terrain gets real chunk. Grant has spent almost ten years thrashing on this frame and nothing has broken yet so it was certainly built well!

He also painted it himself with Spray Bike.

We’d like to thank all of you who have submitted Readers Rides builds to be shared over here. The response has been incredible and we have so many to share over the next few months. Feel free to submit your bike, listing details, components, and other information. You can also include a portrait of yourself with your bike!
