    I love how casual Cass makes this seem, only with with 10,000 hours of bikepacking experience under your belt you can talk about a route like that. Makes me very excited nevertheless. I hope to ride something like this in the future. I need to learn the language first, only then I think you can gain the full experience of travelling in these remote areas providing the opportunity to learn from its people.

      yeah, I cant overstate how casually he says you will climb 1500m everyday…which is all too fuckin real. Id double down on learning spanish for this route, its actually so remote that you will have occasionally be translating quechua to spanish through a younger person, no english to be found out yonder.
