Like the Death Valley sign, this Argonaut Cycles road bike uses nature’s atmospheric layering as inspiration for a bright and sunny paint design, perfect for summer rider. See more at the Above Category blog!

  • This post should be marked NSFW… What a gorgeous bike

  • Damien Bishop

Great paint job, but is there a reason why the external brake routing is used? It would have been so much cleaner and quieter if it was internal.

    • Ditto. “Cleanliness is next to godliness, and there’s no cleaner way to build a bike than with SRAM RED eTap. Eschewing the need for ports or cable stops really lets the beauty of the bike stand out.” Except brake cable stops; those can stay.

  • etap rear derailleur is so freaking big

    • like the first di2 derailleurs

  • Might be my favorite looking bike of all. It is a shame that on the AC site the shot of the seat post shows the paint chipping. Or am I imagining things? http://www.abovecategorycycling.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/IMG_4506-Edit.jpg
