2016 NAHBS: Strong Disc Road Bike with SRAM RED eTap

Carl Strong makes beautifully-simple, understated bikes, void of any flashiness or ostentation and I’ve always been a fan. This disc road is a shining example of precision framebuilding.

  • looks like a sweet ride! Just too bad Etap isn’t available with hydraulic brake levers… Those mechanical BB7 brakes are almost impossible to modulate

    • Romain Mousset

plus they look cheap on such a build

    • Alta

I have to imagine eTap hydro is in the works.

    • Ace Metric Cycles

those look like custom (black adjusting dial) Paul Klampers to me…

      • you’re right, my bad! They still look very low-tech compared to the rest of the bike..

      • Johnny Vanderwell

They are. I saw the bike today.

  • JP Coates

Thanks NAHBS, I now hate all of my bikes.

Nice to see a Strong here at the Radavist! Carl Strong is an amazing talent, super nice guy, and he makes a great bike!
