Seabase on Teide Apr 17, 2015

Talk about monumental scenery. Fixed gear mountain bomber Patrick Seabase is back, tackling another resting giant in his latest video.

  • Loved this. Like a dream made real. I miss Europe.

  • Andy Moore

I love to see people earning their descents, but this goes so far beyond that I can’t get my head around it.

I can’t find any info on the music – – can’t seem to track down a copy of the audio anywhere…

The video on vimeo has this credit:
Music Uphill + Crater: Kneeling / Philippe Henchoz

Music Downhill: BP / Thomas Grandjean

Sorry if this has been discussed before… what’s up with that bike? I wasn’t aware Focus was making track bikes…

  • Mo Shizzle

Lika eating soup with a fork. I know, no negativity and all…

This is great, to all people who don’t understand doing something like that on a breakless fixed gear I think challenge, fun and thrill are the main reasons. Like eating soup with a fork maybe but I’m sure he still got up there pretty quick. If you haven’t done stuff like this fixed you may not be able to understand. Riding this on a road bike would be quicker but it would be a completely different experience, not better or worse just different.

Incredible, just all of it, from the hard core ride to the scenery to the visual composition. The best Seabase vs video yet and one of the best videos for the year for me.
