Baum Cycles: Disc Cubano Dec 19, 2014

Please, please, please, please, don’t make this another disc debate.

This is one of the best looking disc bikes I’ve seen and I have no idea why. Other than the fact that it’s a Baum and they seem to do no wrong. This Cubano is so amazing, down to the ENVE rims and minimal accents.

See more at Baum’s Flickr!

  • At least those aren’t the Marathon Plus, but still. They should at least use Marathon Supremes.

These brakes are far superior because I fear the new! technology bad, fight me bro!

    • Andrew Deane

You can’t argue with a vintage Raleigh. I’d ride that.

  • it’s a bit boring..

  • D0rk

Pretty bike, but it’s certainly one of Baum’s more subdued color schemes.

  • Please, please, please, please can somebody buy Schwalbe a new Graphic Designer for Christmas?

    • Chrue

what’s wrong with the one(s) they have?

    • Moosemonkey

The logos, they grow. I have Schwalbe Little Big Bens and…. It could really use a less is more approach

Good tires though. Not my favorite ever. But they’re really sturdy.

    • I kinda feel that way about Baum. *prepares for downvotes*

      • Tommaso Gomez

Yeah, those decals remind me of a Gillette Mach 3 packet. Nice frame otherwise.

  • Always like the work they do. The only thing I’d prefer is placing the rear brake caliper discreetly between the stays.

  • kermitonwheels

The balance of the design and the array of small details are really impressive on this.

  • Rasmus Riemann

    Do we know the clearance?
