As you can probably tell by the infrequency of posts, I’ve been relaxing for the holidays. Lauren and I flew down to NC to see my folks and since arriving here, we’ve pretty much exhausted things to do around town. Yesterday, we went to the Cape Fear Serpentarium and it was freaking amazing. As a kid, I was always out catching snakes, both venomous and non-venomous in the local tin fields. But seeing mambas, cobras, vipers and boas up close and personal was something else. I used to want to be a herpetologist, before going into architecture and I’m always questioning that decision.
