Hold Fast: Introducing the Day Pack

DayPack.jpg

Rob from Hold Fast gave me one of their new Day Packs at Interbike this year and I will say that it’s a reasonably-sized bag. Here’s their explanation for their newest Made in the USA product:

“We’re proud to introduce this latest creation, our version of a “day-pack”. The inspiration comes from our desire for a more simple approach to cargo. If you’re like us, you tend to ride around with an extra-large backpack always filled with way to much stuff that you don’t really need. This backpack strips that all away.

Large enough to carry all the essentials for a day trip, this two-compartment backpack has enough room for a 15″ laptop, change of clothes, camera, tools – whatever you need to keep your day going. Each side pocket perfectly fits a u-lock or water bottle, and the additional side compression straps allow for even larger cargo (should you need to strap on a spare wheel-set, for example). The main body is reinforced and padded for extra back support, and the shoulder straps are also padded and ergonomically shaped for comfort. Also comes with a sternum strap for extra-load support and a belt-strap. There’s also a double row of MOLLE supports, to which you’ll be able to add on additional components.”

Be on the look out for these shortly!
