ILE Inside Line Equipment: Mark II Prototype

IMG_4607.jpg

Last night I got a package in the mail from Eric at ILE. Ever since I got the Ultimate Photographer’s Bag, I’ve been giving him feedback on it. One of my concerns with the first run of bags was that there wasn’t enough space for multiple lenses, flashes and camera bodies. Since I travel mostly to shoot photos, I tend to bring just about all of my equipment with me. This Mark II prototype fits all of my camera gear. Yes, all of it. Film, digital, flashes, light stands and even a tripod. It’s got a slew of special features that I’m still figuring out how to use.

Now before you get upset, this is not replacing the Ultimate bag, it’s just a step up from the original. For those who lug around all their equipment, not just a camera and a few lenses.

I like to use my products thoroughly before reviewing them, so expect a review in a few weeks. Until then, here’s a teaser photo. Eric put 20 hours into developing this prototype so I want to give him plenty of feedback before it goes into production. Like all ILE products, this bag is made in the USA by a cyclist and that’s something I can get behind!
