I cannot believe that Peter is selling this beaut! His 54cm 1980’s Schwinn Madison 10 track frame is up for sale. Here are the details, via his Flickr:

“I’ve traveled the world with this bike, we’ve spent a lot of time together. She’s an original ’80s Schwinn Madison, all lugged steel construction.

Dave Wages (Ellis Cycles) added the S&S couplers and replaced the rear brake bridge. The couplers perform flawless and might even enhance the stiffness of the bike. She was repainted by Kevin Sparrow during his tenure at COAT in Portland. White sparkle powder with a contrasting black sparkle stencil of the period correct logo. The paint is pretty roughed up from being jostled around in my travel case, but that will just add to your street cred.

There’s one point I must mention (photo 08) there is a small surface crack in the top non-drive side seatstay cap. I’m 160lbs and have been riding with this over 3 years now and it hasn’t changed.

I’m including the Campy Record headset and spanner tool for the couplers and a tube of special coupler grease. Bottom bracket not included.
