Man. What an experience. One week, I’m sweating it out in Austin’s 100+ degree weather and the next, I’m in the Aussie winter, doing road rides, cross rides and fixed freestyle sessions. I really, truly had the time of my life and yes, I will go out on a limb and say that Melbourne is the most exciting city I’ve ever ridden a bike in.

When Andy and I were pre-riding the 2011 Melburn Roobaix course, we snapped each other’s portraits. I guess this is kinda like crossing the internet-streams but what the hell.

Here’s to my red-bearded brethren. Ride safe and keep the rubber side down, you’ll case fewer Campagnolo rims that way!
