Product Review: All-City Twin Six Kit Oct 27, 2010

You can never have enough kits. Especially kits from your homie’s companies. Jeff from All-City hooked me up with one of their Twin Six kits and I finally put some miles in it yesterday and this morning. Other than it being really comfortable, there are some nice details in it, like these lips above the ass of the bibs.

Check out some more photos below.

The All-City crest is on the arm.

The jersey pockets are good and deep. I had them stuffed with arm and leg warmers, along with my pump, iPhone and cleat covers with no issues.

I usually hate black jerseys because their too hot in the summer. But in this weather, it’s perfect. Really feeling the design and again, the fit is spot on with higher-end manufacturers. Twin Six and All-City did a bang up job! Thanks guys! If you wanna get your sweaty palms on one of these, head to your local bike shop and order one through QBP. I wear an XL in the jersey and a large in the bibs. They fit true to size (club cut).

that is a kickin’ kit … but I’ll bet you were on the Affinity or the Merckx when you hit 42 on the (down)hill …
Someone should make a tongue-in-cheek kit for all of us who ride ebay/junkyard piece-it-together specials!

  • I’m pretty sure this is one of the more inexpensive kits. I still ride all my vintage and hand-me-down jerseys. Every once and a while, it’s nice to slip into something like this.
