Andrew Franciosa: Austin Horse’s Brooklyn Machine Works Cross Bike Oct 17, 2010

Andrew has extensive race coverage from this weekend’s Uncle Sam Grand Prix up on Bike Albany. Out of the dozens of photos in the set, there’s an extensive bike-check on Austin Horse’s custom Brooklyn Machine Works cross bike. Known mostly for their Gangsta track (also pictured above), Brooklyn has been recently experimenting with road and cross frames.

Check out more photos below.

Andrew beat me to the punch with these photos. I was planning on shooting Austin’s bike this week at some point. All that aside, his look great!

The custom-milled road ends look wicked!

From the looks of the bar tape, Austin must have taken a spill.

I just love the BMW aesthetic. Such a stellar build!

Austin did three races this weekend at the Uncle Sam Grand Prix: C, B and Single Speed. This quick bastard made it to the podium in all 3 races. Congrats homie! Be sure to check out Andrew’s coverage over on Bike Albany and see the rest of his photos on his Facebook.

damn, that wheel is about to pop out of the dropouts!

  • Nah, I checked it out this morning (Austin’s my room mate), you just can’t see the lip of the dropout in the photo. It’s in there!
