You gotta hand it to Kinfolk. They get up when it comes to incorporating their track bikes into the world of fashion and design. Everything they do is dialed in and gorgeous as well. When I was hanging out with Maceo the other day, he showed me these photos from a recent KSwiss collaboration they were working on. Now that it’s gone live on Hypebeast, I can post about it. Here’s a lil background on the project:
Tokyo-based bike and creative entity Kinfolk was recently commissioned by K-Swiss to put together a collection of visuals for the footwear brand’s Malibu ’66 collection. Based on K-Swiss’ roots and year of birth, the selection of imagery was chosen as a representation of the Californian way of life as well as Kinfolk’s own bike-based inspirations.
If I ever owned a leather messenger bag, I’d kill for one of these! Damn. Nicely done guys! You won’t find this photo anywhere else and personally, it’s my favorite from the set. Check out more information and photos at Hypebeast!
