Review: Coffinworm – When All Became None

I first came across Coffinworm on a random Google image search. At the time, I was looking for a cross or something. Whatever it was that I searched brought me to the band’s Myspace where they were promoting a first run of their EP Great Bringer of Night. Each copy was hand-screened and numbered and yeah, limited. I listened to a few tracks and was impressed. $5 later I had a copy. Since that release, the band has been busy culminating their most recent project entitled When All Became None. There are moments when you find a good band that’s up and coming and you want to get the word out. This is one of those times. Coffinworm’s sound is unique in many ways and When All Became None is a great example of their talent.
