One day last week I stumbled into the middle of an interview with Hugo from Snap! Delivery at Affinity. It seemed the Brooklyn Eagle was doing a small piece on the “new trend” in bicycle messengers that’s found a home in Brooklyn; food delivery. Hugo and other riders run a company called Snap! (I’ve posted about them before). They work hard and get paid well. Unlike Manhattan messengers, these Brooklynites make money off tips from delivering food and still do traditional runs into the city all the time, sometimes crossing the bridge up to 6 times a day.
