14 Bike Co is Moving

I’ve heard about this happening for a little while now and I can’t say that I’m opposed. Check out the latest from 14 Bike Co:

“Yes, 14bikeco is moving out of the Truman Brewery! For the moment we are going to be concentrating on wholesale and online with a new premises coming soon. The decision to move came about through the fact that there are a load of projects that we’ve got going on that we really want to put our full attention to, without having the day-to-day demands of running a bike shop slowing things down.

From the beginning our focus was to make beautiful handbuilt English bicycles, utilizing the skills honed in the history of English manufacturing to create bespoke bicycles to last a lifetime, and although it’s been amazing to have the shop up for so long it’s time for us to move on and concentrate on developing more of our own products and designs.

14bikeco wants to say a huge thank you to all of our shop customers and of course everyone at the Truman brewery
for all the help and support they’ve given us over the last 2 years!”

Makes perfect sense. Running wrenches and dealing with flat fixes will suck all the time from your day and a lot of the time, hiring more people isn’t feasible with rising overhead. I’m glad to see 14 Bike Co is shifting their paradigm.
