Tuxedos, Jello Shots, Jeff Frane DJing. It was a great time. But damn was it cold….
Man. This night. Handsome Cycles, One on One and Chrome got the hairbrained idea to do a shop bike shred sled race after Frostbike last Saturday. There were many wrecks, kegs were killed, rare whiskeys were consumed, people passed out, people were kicked out and yes, fun was had.
Minneapolis goes hard… then goes back to the hotel room and drinks more until 4am. See more in the Gallery!
As part of their unveiling for the 2014 cross bike lineup. All City threw a Snow Ball on Friday night during Frostbike. Jello Shots, dancing, free beer and formal wear filled the room at the Eagle Club as people could fondle three new cross bike models.
I ended up waiting for two hours as the shuttle bus returned to the hotel on frozen roads, so I missed out on a lot of fun but when we finally got to the party just before midnight, it was still bustlin’. Check out some photos in the Gallery!
I’m about to take a nap right now so that I have enough energy to party here tonight!
Mission Workshop is going to have a holiday collection showcase at Golden Saddle Cyclery, beginning this Friday with the opening party. This looks like it’ll be fun. So much fun that I’m flying out for this party and soak in some SoCal Cross!
BEER BEER BEER bourbon
Jeff has a great race recap up on the All-City blog. I think this might be the most comprehensive group of photos I’ve seen so far. Thanks for coming out buddy!
Yep. It’s going to be fun. Real fun. So fun, that you’ll probably spend more time off your bike, than on, depending on your skill level…
Prizes are going to be good, but limited. $5 buy in. Race starts at 7pm, with registration opening at 6:30pm. 18+ ONLY. Meet at the Roy G Guerrero park gazebo in East Austin. Ride whatever you’ve got! Come race, or just hang out and heckle. It’s going to be in a public park, so alcohol isn’t technically allowed. Be creative… Afterparty TBA.
It’s going to be a dark course, like, no stadium lights, so bring a good riding lamp. There will be some technical singletrack, run ups, sand pits and a few surprises.
I know it’s kinda short notice, but if you’re able to come out, do so. We’ll be riding cross and MTBs all week.
State Bicycle Co was at Tempe’s Costume Cross 2 this year to race, party, have fun and shoot a rad little video. Check it out! That guy’s got a great costume, BTW…
… and we’ve got coozies! More details to come. For now, I just want to thank All-City for getting behind this event!
