Rapha Launches their Made in Italy Pro Team Shadow Apparel
Rapha_Shadow

When Rapha does something domestically-produced either in London, or Italy you know it’s going to be good. It’s like they save the best products to be made by the best hands. Cycling apparel has been made by the Italians since the dawn of the bicycle and so it should be no surprise that Rapha looked to Italy to manufacture their new Pro Team Shadow kit. It’s designed for racing in inclement weather with high-tech fabrics and a super sleek fit. Check out more information below and see the line at Rapha. (more…)

Footwear giant Adidas has resurrected its cycling program with an full line spanning road to mountain. Everything from jackets, to bibs, tights and jerseys can now be ordered through select retailers… In Europe.

For US-customers, we can check out the entire collection in the embedded program or browse the catalog on the Adidas Cycling website. Personally, I think it’s an impressive launch and would like to hope that some of it makes its way Stateside.

Long Sleeve Sun Protection: Patagonia Capilene Silkweight Base Layers

This website focuses a lot on Made in the USA products, but that doesn’t mean I shouldn’t share products like this when I put them through the ringer, especially if it saves you some money.

The summer sun is unforgiving and while I’ll wear sun sleeves and a normal jersey on my road bike, I spent a good amount of time this year looking for long-sleeve sunblocking options for mountain bike rides. A large misconception about long sleeve shirts is that they’re too hot to wear on a sunny summer day and while that can be true for materials like cotton, there are silkweight options that will wick sweat, keep you cool and most importantly protect your arms from the sun’s harmful rays… (more…)

Poler Pinecone Kit by Castelli
Poler_Pinecone

Poler‘s kits are always the best! For the forthcoming fall months, they’ve worked out a pre-order with Castelli on a pair of bibs, a jersey and arm warmers using their Land-designed pinecone pattern. The pre-order is live now, so head over to Castelli to see more information. For what it’s worth, I’ve found these kits to fit true-to-size…

SOLD OUT: New Jerseys
andre-5

Wardrobes over here are pretty subdued. Black jeans, black shirts, black boots. If color does get splashed in, it’ll usually be either camo, green, tan or grey. You know, the simple tones that make life interesting. While we’ve got nothing against bright, vibrant kit designs, they’re just not our thing. That’s why sticking to solid tones and hues makes sense to us.

Introducing two new Radavist jerseys and a short sleeve rendition of the collaboration jersey with Tracko. These include: a Battleship Grey Jersey with black accents, a “Sprinters” OD Green jersey with discharge tan accents and a Blackened Splinter Camo jersey, marked with Tracko and the Radavist insignia in white. Mix them with your favorite black bibs, or the Radavist bibs. Either way, they’ll look great.

Each jersey is made by hand in Los Angeles by Endo Customs and is in stock now with a retail of $125 plus shipping. These are sold out. Thanks for your support. We’ll be shipping them this week.
