Hey There, Sunshine

Photos by Andy White

Sorry to be re-blogging so much of Fyxo’s content these days but he keeps posting photos of some of my best friends, including this lovely lady. Adria is arguably the brains behind Trackosaurus Rex. She’s helped Kyle out with various things over the years, including designing the Golden Saddle Cyclery kits. While I wouldn’t say she has a style, she definitely has a touch and that spills over into all aspects of her life.

Fyxo shot some great photos of Adria and her Landshark cruiser. Check them out here and if you would like to hire Adria for design work, holler here.

British Cycling: UCI Track Cycling World Cup

It’s not everyday that we see professional female athletes shine in cycling. That is, until the UCI Track Cycling World Cup comes around. British Cycling has a ton of exceptional coverage on their site, showcasing the event so don’t miss out. Or, if you prefer to just look at rad photos, check out their Flickr.

Ornot: Cycling Gear Made in California

Ornot is a small, new label based in San Francisco. Founded by the belief that you shouldn’t have to spend a lot of money, only to look like a rolling billboard. All of their garments are made in California and are minimally-branded.

Check out the full Ornot line here. I will say one thing: kudos to them for developing a women’s line at the same time as a men’s line and making them the same design!

Also, damn, I miss riding in California already!

Trackosaurus Rex: God Save the Track Bike Tees in Stock
GodSaveTheTrackBikeKelli

Is it punk or is it couture? Whatever it is, this isn’t the first time high fashion has collided with a Tracko offering. The STTB button was inspired by a campaign to “Save The Tents” during NY Fashion Week. This latest tee and koozie pull inspiration from another fashion industry giant – Kate Moss. Originally published in a 2002 issue of i-D magazine, and shot by Craig McDean, the now iconic image of Moss in an olive drab military jacket with “God Save The Queen” painted on the back has long been a favorite of mine.

Pick one up at Trackosaurus Rex!

RYB: Cycling Denim for the Ladies

It’s no secret that these days, women get left out of a lot of cycling apparel lines. Maybe that’s a good thing? If that big denim company had made a women’s line, then maybe brands like RYB wouldn’t have taken the initiative themselves to fill the much-needed market. For whatever reason, the ladies at RYB look to be filling that void. Check out their IndieGoGo campaign here!
