Kalamaja 2001 is a video showcasing a bikepacking adventure ride from St. Pauli, Germany to Kalamaja, an old part of town in Tallinn/Estonia. This trip took three riders the entire 1900 kilometres in 8 days through six countries to the beautiful east in northern Europe.

What kicked off with fixing bent derailleurs, snapped chains and broken spokes in a cramped basement workshop, hidden away in a back alley, turned surprisingly quickly into a proper bike store. As Guten Biken went on growing as a business, we became more and more engaged in our passion for building custom bikes. But through that growth we always stuck to a simple conviction – that every bicycle that gets pushed over our doorstep, no matter how old and rusty, deserves a second chance (or at least parts of it). ”

For weeks he and the students wrestled with ideas and plans — thinking, drawing and designing. The many ideas finally gelled into a singular project: Più di Pegoretti.”

Anyone who’s attended design school, can attest to at least one professor who has singlehandedly changed their outlook on the world. I’d imagine Pegoretti would be such a professor. Check out the Più di Pegoretti project and see what his students came up with this semester!

Flawless accuracy and a determination to absolute perfection made him stood out from the rest and soon, LIGHT WOLF became a trademark for custom wheel building on a totally new level.

Not much has changed since, although it was time for a revisit.
LIGHT WOLF is not a one-man-show anymore, he shares a workshop in a historic industrial area with his friends of VELOHELD and he got himself a new safe. On May 25th 2015, LIGHT WOLF celebrates its 6th anniversary and his future looks bright.”
