It was a busy year for Matt at Wheel Talk with all the various video projects he’s worked on. Check out some 2012 left overs in his latest edit.

Epic Skatepark in Rocklin, California played host to the first annual Epic Competition and Chop ‘Em Down Films was there to capture it all. This one’s a long watch but well worth it just to see Gus eat french fries.

I really should have included some sort of 2012 observation post in my end-of-year recap series. Mostly to acknowledge people like Phillip Williams. He was relentless with progression last year and he’s already pushing hard in 2013 with his newest web video. My only real critique is more street!

The drama that surrounds this video is actually pretty entertaining if you witnessed it on Twitter. Matt from Wolf Drawn touches on some of it, but it’s sad that Mike has quit riding FGFS. I always enjoyed his videos.

Grime and Wheel Talk start off 2013 proper with the long-awaited Shredwell 2 intro.

While none of these clips are recent, almost all of them are still relevant. Torey‘s crank arm slides are some of the best in the game and you can always expect weird lines. Keep at it man.

FGFS ripper Jonathan Davis has been filming for Velo City Bags and Phillip caught a sick wall ride while he was catching clips.

I love the FOAD crew. Case in point, just watch Jackson get creative on these spots. Love the sprocket grind pivot, fakie stair rides and the double tire skid down the banks. Also, “skidding is bad form”. So good!

Tom Briggs from Skitch made this rad video for Inside Line Equipment, showcasing their MKiii DSLR bag.

The Collard Shirt Krew has been escaping the Seattle rain by riding the local parking garage. Check it out as the guys shred it and Tyler Johnson gets rad on his BMX.

Yes, I watched the whole thing and yes, it’s great. Crashes are never easy to stomach and my old bones just ache looking at some of these. Thanks for the video, Matt. Just in time for you to second guess everything you do this weekend on your bike that involves two wheels leaving the ground.

Joe has been stacking clips on his new Bombtrack rig for a while now and finally put this edit up. His style is still one of the best around and even though I can’t help but think of Donnie Darko here, it’s well worth the watch. The dude just hammers away nollie bar 180s, 180 tables and clean 720 airs at the local park.

I missed posting this one when I was sick last week, but I’ve gotta support the homies at Burro! Nice one Zane.
