The track bike criterium is a rapidly-growing event worldwide and over in Berlin, there’s a new fixed gear crit training series called Crucial Crit. Photographer Constantin Gerlach was on site for the first day of racing, documenting it all. See more here!

In the Red Hook Crit coverage here on PiNP, there was a discussion about the young rider who took a nasty spill and was hospitalized. His name is Joshua “Pro” Hardman and he races for Major Taylor Development Team, an amateur race team, based in Brooklyn, NY.

Neil Bezdek won the Red Hook Crit Navy Yard Brooklyn track crit last night. The course was fast and almost immediately, Neil and Kyle Murphy broke away, before being caught by Marc Marino who finished third (hell yeah dude!!!!). Finishing fourth and fifth were Alex Barouh and Cooper Ray.

A lot of the race favorites flatted out, some crashed but Neil took his fourth all-time victory at the Red Hook Crit.

For as bad as it looks, everyone appears to be ok. Last night’s Red Hook Crit Navy Yard course proved to be too much for 98% of the field.

Well done Chalet! I love seeing all this Red Hook Crit coverage.

Crihs‘ Mission Bay Crit was a huge success in SF and Mike Martin from MASH headed out to capture the night. I love low-light, moody photography like this. I’m stoked to hear this event went off smoothly and can’t wait to see more of these go down in SF.
