There’s a new offering from Breakbrake 17, the Karma Track:
“The BB17 Karma track frame geometry was inspired from the modern track racing bike, Features like short wheelbase, responsive but also stable and comfortable. The frame is an ideal bike for urban track riders. 7005-T6 Triple Butted tubes makes the frame lighter and stiff to give you control to transferring all your power to the road. ROUND-AERO down tube sharp and unique tapered seat stays to dissipate road shock for a smooth ride.
Colors available in : Matt Gray/Blue, Matt Black/Purple, Brushed Satin Finish with Clearcoat/Yellow”

These Spike Parts track hubs remind me of the old Zipp hubs and that’s a good thing. They look damn sharp. Check out more at the Spike Parts Flickr!
Torey has been working on his edit for Breakbrake 17 for a bit and like all good things, it’s worth the wait! His style is honed like an ax waiting for battle, so expect the big, fire crackin gaps, long nose mannies and all the techy tire lines he’s known for. This one’s dialed man!
Don’t miss out on this exclusive for PiNP.
I am pumped on both of these photos. The first being Torey doing a double tire slide, shot by Matt Spencer of Wolf Drawn and the second is of Osaka Funny’s BB17 Serpent, by Bob Woods. This company has a great roster of very creative riders.
Torey shot over his newest edit with Breakbrake 17 29’r teammate Oscar. Check it out as they bring the street weirdness to the skatepark in Canarsie. That last clip is nuts!
iMinus D is running a little promo over on their site:
“For a limited time, receive a free Spike MID bottom bracket with a purchase of a Breakbrake17 Charmer orSerpent FGFS frame. Offer good while supplies last.”
Digging the branding on these frames.
When I see bikes like this, all I hear is “KABOOOOOOOOM” “CRUUUUSHHHHH” “CLANNNNG”. The sounds of a big-boy bike. 29’rs will always look more bad ass than 26″, sorry! Check out more of this mother fuckin’ beast at the Breakbrake 17 blog. Torey, this shit looks raw as hell.
iMinusD has posted up the entire Breakbrake 17 2012 offerings for pre-order. This includes their Transfer, triple triangle track, Charmer 26″ FGFS V2 and the Serpent 29’r FGFS. I love the way the Serpent looks and there needs to be more 29’r FGFS frames on the market, in my opinion of course. These are expected on June 20th. Check out the details at iMinusD.
Breakbrake 17’s triple triangle, Columbus tubing, low pro is now available. Dubbed the transfer, these frames are in stock and ready to ship. Hit up your local Breakbrake 17 dealer, or iMinusD. For more photos, head to BB17’s blog.

I absolutely love this photo of Sol Smith riding his new BB17 Serpent. If the bike looks a little funny to you, it’s because he spraypainted the entire thing without taking any parts off. Pretty wild. Check out more information at Ninja Cats! Congrats Sol, you’re one of my favorite dudes to watch ride.
