Ruckus’ Carbon Access Tool is pretty nifty. I got one in the mail as I was heading out for Australia, so I didn’t get the chance to mess with it but everything about the C.A.T. was spot-on. The dudes at Ruckus have a Kickstarter for the C.A.T., so head over and check that out. Or, if you like bidons, have you seen the Joe Biden bidons?

For the past two days, I’ve been preparing to head back down to Australia for a few weeks. Lauren is there, working again and so I get to spend some more time with my bestest mates. As I was packing this morning, I noticed some color-coordination happening and thought I’d take a minute to shoot these two photos.

I keep telling them to put the pattern into production but for some reason, they’re hesitant. Regardless, I managed to get my hands on a few boxes of the stuff and I want to give them away.

I’m all about domestic fabrication. I love the vintage aesthetic of Crane bells, which are made in Japan, but they’re a little too big for mountain or road bars. A bell should disappear, only to make its presence known when you ring it. Maybe that’s why I like Spurcycle‘s design for “the Ringer”. Ok, yes, that name is helllllla cheesy but the design of the Ringer is not.
They have a Kickstarter, which is already at their goal, so just pre-order one there.
