Bruce Gordon Retirement Sale Aug 15, 2017

If you’ve ever wanted a Bruce Gordon frame or complete bike, now’s your chance!

“Starting August 19, Bruce Gordon Cycles will be selling off 47 years of cycling history. All bikes, components, racks, frames, wheels, fixtures, and tools will be heavily discounted. The only stuff not being sold at this time is Bruce’s personal collection of bicycles.

New Rock n’ Road tires and new stainless toeclips will be sold at the regular price, but everything else must go. This is a great opportunity to stock up on vintage cycling equipment and help one of the living legends of framebuilding retire. All sales will be by APPOINTMENT ONLY, in person at Bruce Gordon Cycles, on a first-come, first-served basis. Make your appointment today by calling the shop: (707) 762-5601 or Bruce’s cellphone: (707) 762-4107.”

Will the Rock n’ Roads remain in production?

    • Yes

      • Trevor Martin

I’m assuming this means Bruce found someone to take over the business?

        • Rod Kimble

          I really hope it’s BicyclePubes.

          • Nicholas Haig-Arack

Don’t we all. Pubes by the Slough would be a welcome addition to Sonoma County.

          • Ham Sandwich

only $249,945 to go! tell bruce bruce to hold his god damn horses.

        • Dan Coppola

I’d assume that nobody took him up on taking over the business – otherwise the new owner would acquire the fixtures, tools, etc. No?

          • Nicholas Haig-Arack

            That’s right, Dan.

        • Nicholas Haig-Arack

Bruce didn’t find anyone to take over the business, so it’s on to Plan B. He would still prefer to sell it all as a package, so if anyone out there has been considering it, call him right now before he starts “parting out” the good stuff.

  • Nicholas Haig-Arack

Just to be clear, this is an ongoing sale that begins on August 19 and continues until Bruce retires. Instead of having one big garage sale, he wants to invite collectors and other interested parties to come dig through his workshop, one at a time. So call him to make an appt for anytime after the 19th – but don’t wait too long, all the good stuff might disappear before then!
