Reynolds 725/520 premium Cr-Mo tubing? Any idea why they went with TRP brakes instead of the awesome BB7’s that already come on all other models?

    • Chris van der Kaap

I run the TRP spyres (SLC) and even though they have slightly less bite to the BB7, the symmetrical pad actuation (and thus adjustment) is a really great and makes for super quick tool-free pad adjustment (= lifesaver). And It’s little more svelte too, if that’s any concern!

      • Ian Stone

Just read a couple reviews. They barrel adjusters are a nice touch. They sound like a better system overall compared to the BB7’s. They look really nice too.

      • The non-self-centering on the BB7s drives me bananas. Too used to how easy hydro discs are on my mountain bikes. :)

    • The Spyre’s make BB7’s look like a broken dishwasher.

MAN do i want that pizza rack.

  • Davey Nicholas

where do i get a pizza rack

  • Super neat.

  • Greg Ralich

    Panniers lookin wicked good!

  • Domingo

I wanted this bike the moment I read the Oregon Outback article and now they’re putting it into production?! Oh man, oh man. totally ordering one of these bad boys.

  • Steve Petty

I placed my order this morning. I’m upgrading from the AWOL base model (which is awesome bike). Excited to get the new bike with all the extras. The bike is so versatile, gravel, mtn., road. The Swiss Army knives of bikes.

  • Pat E.

I am excited for this bike. I just wish it would appear on the dealer site. I want one!

  • odenator

Stopped by the shop today and put in an order for one. They were unfortunately not flush with info. None of the dealers seem to know much about the bike. Essentially he read up on it after I called him yesterday and then today after I gave over the money said he’d call and leave a message for the rep to place the order (since the rep is never available over the weekend). I guess I should find out Monday if I got one. Fingers crossed. I decided to push aside my issues with Specialized as a brand since, as John has pointed out, this is more of a personal project hiding within this brand, and this bike is really everything I’m looking for right now.

    • Pat E.

I work at one of the top Specialized shops in the country and we have zero info about this bike outside of this site and the AWOL site. It is not on the dealer portal yet. Maybe it will appear on Monday?

      • odenator

Any update on your end? My guy got ahold of his rep today and put in a verbal order. But the Specialized rep didn’t have much info. He didn’t even know when they’d actually be available to ship out to stores. Curious if you’ve heard anything today.

  • Benny Watson

Nothing showing on the Specialized dealer site so far.

    • You have to call them.

      • Benny Watson

        Very unusual.

  • odenator

Just got the word today! I should be taking delivery of mine on Wednesday.

  • asdfsky

I want to buy the panniers, is there a separate laptop section inside the bag? Thanks.

    • Ivan O Lopez

I’m trying to get those panniers for my AWOL , but I do not find it at the Poler website

  • Steve Petty

The dealer called me yesterday. My AWOL X Poler should be at the dealer Monday, ready for pickup on Tuesday. So stoked!

  • odenator

Anybody know what cargo net came on the pizza rack? I lost mine and want to replace it.

  • Ivan O Lopez

where I can get those panniers? I do not see it at the Poler website
